He does not lie or change his mind

Two years ago, on 16 March 2024, at a statewide conference, after a session had been dismissed and people were already walking out, an intern we'd never met came over to us. He'd been setting up chairs and taking photographs. He said he felt to pray over the two of us — one prayer, over both. Before we'd written a single song, before the word vssls existed in our minds.

Rivers of water coming at you. Living water. Anointing. Worship. Partnership. Restoration from what the enemy is trying to do and steal. Destruction to the enemy’s camp.

A lot of it landed. Some of it felt strange — particularly the Partnership part.

Two years later, to the day, on 16 March 2026, our debut Friend to me aired on radio for the first time.

On 20 June 2026, at a conference in Adelaide, a preacher we had never met prayed over Joel:

"the gifts and call you give are irrevocable — that he who purposed it will also do it… you are not a man, that you would lie… change your mind… my Word is yes and amen. I haven't changed my mind.”

“the gate called Beautiful… such as I have give I thee… be convicted about what you possess… treasure in earthen vessels… he wants to come through you."

She didn't know us, she didn’t know vssls, she didn’t know 2 Cor 4:7 was one of our founding verses. She didn’t know what we were carrying, and she didn’t know that we had written 1 Sam 15:29 into All My Life (To You I Bring)’s devotional My Life Your Vessel, already published weeks before the day.

1 Samuel 15:29 —the Glory of Israel does not lie or change his mind. The Hebrew is netzach: enduring, unchanging, never-failing. It appears once. In all of Scripture, one time, and this is it.

‍ ‍

Six weeks before that, a prophetic word that we got: Jeremiah 1:12I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.

In July, we declared it over our social media — eight days of 1 Samuel 15:29, followed by three days of Jeremiah 1:12.

Right in the middle, 1 Samuel 15:29 just completed, Jeremiah 1:12 starting, came the news that Aussie Grown Radio is featuring All My Life (To You I Bring) on Aussie Grown Across The Nation. It’s carried Australian Christian music from the grassroots up since 2014, on more than twenty stations nationally, into a network of over a hundred community stations, and syndicated to three networks in the United States.

We didn't organise it.

We've never had a strategy for this. We've only had obedience. We heard His word and we followed. We release the songs and we let them go. He's the one watching over His word to perform it.

If you'd like to hear it — and to hear the hearts behind Aussie Grown — here are some stations where you can stream live online:

+ more; we've checked these against each station's own guide, but times can shift without notice. if in doubt, your station's guide wins. not on this list? ask your local station for it. that's how most of these started.

Aussie Grown Across The Nation airs on Life FM Adelaide and Life FM Riverland also. The same station. The one that played Friend to me two years to the day after someone we didn’t know us, obeyed the voice of God, and spoke His word.

God’s word declared always achieves His purpose, and our yes keeps travelling further than we can take it, because He is the One who watches over His word.

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their vindication is from Me,” declares the LORD. — Isaiah 54:17

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.. — Isaiah 55:8-11

“But if it is from God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You may even find yourselves fighting against God!” — Acts 5:39

“You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.” | “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.” — Jeremiah 1:12 NKJV, NIV

If you're holding a word right now that doesn't make sense yet — one you've half-shelved because you can't see how it could ever be true — save this. Sometimes the meaning arrives later. Right on time.
